West Seattle Dentist | Digital X-Rays

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays allow us to capture images of your teeth and jawbone, which help us to understand what's happening internally. They're an integral tool that allows Dr. Holliday to diagnose problems like tooth decay, gum disease, and cavities as early as possible.

These images are safer for our patients since they emit 80 percent less radiation than film x-rays, and they're safer for our environment because they don't require chemicals for development.

West Seattle Dentist | CBCT Cone Beam Technology

CBCT Cone Beam Technology

Our CBCT cone beam technology allows us to take 3-D images of our patient's teeth, bones, sinuses, and soft tissues. 3-D images are useful for helping Dr. Holliday plan treatment procedures ahead of time to ensure the best results and outcomes for our patients.

West Seattle Dentist | Laser dentistry Seattle

Laser Dentistry

Dr. Holliday uses dental lasers to make treatment efficient, effective, safe, and comfortable for our patients. She uses the Fotona Lightwalker for tooth preparation for procedures like dental crowns and composite fillings. The laser allows her to comfortably remove tooth decay and prepare a tooth for its restoration while minimizing vibrations and noise that are uncomfortable for patients. The laser also preserves more of the tooth's natural structure, allowing for more conservative restorative procedures.

She uses the Fotona Nightlase® to help treat snoring and sleep apnea non-invasively. Laser therapy helps to lift the palate and open the airway, which reduces snoring and improves breathing throughout the night. It can help improve sleep patterns and reduce the symptoms of sleep apnea without the need for an oral appliance or continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapy.

West Seattle Dentist | Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide is a breathable gas we can deliver through an inhalation mask that's comfortable to wear during dental procedures. Nitrous oxide helps patients relax and feel at ease during dental procedures so they can comfortably get dental treatment without anxiety or stress.

Nitrous oxide is safe for all patients, including children, and can provide relaxation during most dental procedures. Talk with Dr. Holliday if you feel like you could benefit from dental sedation in West Seattle.

Intraoral Camera

The intraoral camera provides a close-up look at your teeth and mouth and provides full-color pictures. The images make it easy for you to see and understand any significant concerns in your mouth so you can determine which treatment procedures would benefit you the most and feel confident about your decision.

West Seattle Dentist | Digital Impressions

Digital Impressions

Digital impressions are a comfortable alternative for capturing a likeness of your teeth without using the goopy, messy impression material we used in the past. This is a much more comfortable and efficient process for patients, especially those with a bad gag reflex.
